This Liberty Travel I have been using for a few years to book my birthday vacation trips. But I must say this year has been trying for me. First of all, whomever hired Norma they need to be fired along with her ASAP. That woman has the funkiest attitude I have ever seen from a travel agent. When I was trying to book a trip, she spoke to me as if I hadn't done my research about the destination that I inquired about. Then she started to emphasis the cost as if I couldn't afford it. Really BIH!!, Why would I inquire about a trip but I couldn't afford to pay for it.
Yesterday I made a payment towards my vacation and had to speak to Norma. I must say she was not pleasant to talk to on the phone. She sounded as though she was frustrated and it showed in her voice. Next time I call this office I hope I do not have to deal with her again.
I booked a vacation package to Las Vegas, this was my first time booking a trip at this location for the first time in 15 years. Never again the customer service is awful. The travel agent talked me into purchasing insurance and failed to be more specific in explaining the details of the insurance. Lesson learned never book a trip at that location. Overall their customer service is poor. When I complaint about the insurance decision on my case, the employee gave me a lecture about insurance policies, you don't argue with a customer. The liberty travel offices in Manhattan offer a better service, as Bronxite I wanted to give that office the business.
Been there twice within 3 years. Worst customer service ever! One agent has the worst attitude. She never got back to me after l came in to book a trip! Secondly they have business hours on the site that they don't adhere to. She is the same agent that ignored me while l was waiting 15 minutes for her to open the door. Tall and slender! Worst attitude! I will book my trip online. Surprised they are still open. The rent there must be free!
My main travel agent Patricia W. was not in that day =(( so I had to deal with Norma which was more than unfortunate. She belittled me & was highly unpleasant to the Royal Caribbean customer service representative on the phone. I was like at this point RCL are going to place me in room next to the boiler because of this nasty B*tch!! I was given one quote via email from Patricia W., yet when I came into put down the deposit Norma was demanding 4x the amount. Liberty Travels (Parkchester), please get rid of NORMA, now. She is unpleasant in all ways and your business will lose customers.
