I've used shleppers to move from a sixth floor walk-up apartment after a friend referred them to me. I had a great experience right from the start. I was in direct contact with the senior relocation consultant who promptly answered any questions I had and updated the quote based on any adjustments before the move. Shleppers also sent a certificate of insurance to the new building. The movers were very professional, fast, and attentive. They disassembled and reassembled furniture and finished everything in four hours! None of the furniture or items were ruined during the move. I would definitely recommend Shleppers and will use them in the future.
Shleppers is the most reliable moving company I've ever used. This is my second move with them and they were extremely professional. I've had some terrible experiences in NYC and they're 100% the opposite. Yes, the pricing is a bit higher, but the reliability and professional outweigh the price. I had a personal rep for my move who was extremely helpful while my move-in date was changing up until the last minute. The movers called to confirm in the AM and actually showed up a bit early! They were extremely efficient and helpful. We encountered an issue with my couch fitting down the hallway and they tried for over an hour to get it out. I was so satisfied with their determination and positive attitude during the entire process. My move-in was flawless. Shleppers called me a few hours after I had moved in and the movers had left. This was a great touch in case anything had been forgotten or damaged and you didn't notice while the movers were around. I HIGHLY recommend Shleppers to everyone I know. A+!
Very pleased with the Shleppers team. Great customer service while coordinating the details of our move from a one bedroom apartment in Manhattan to a two bedroom apartment in Brooklyn. The movers were on time, took extra care in securing some delicate furniture and did a great job getting items in and out of apartments undamaged. Would highly recommend them to anyone with an upcoming move. The customer service throughout the entire process is what made us choose them over other companies we received quotes from.
Shleppers was amazing! They were in and out of my 4 story walk up studio in 1.5 hrs and all unpacked & rebuilt all of my furniture in my new place in 3! The whole experience was seamless. It was truly a great moving experience and there were no hidden fees, even with extra boxes than we expected. Will definitely be using in the future.
Schleppers was great! I received a call informing me that they were on their way and they arrived earlier than planned. The movers were very pleasant to interact with and moved efficiently and quickly. They were careful with and respectful of my belongings. They helped me out by taking some items that were not on my inventory, as I chose to take them with me last minute. I was very happy with this experience and would absolutely recommend use their services again!
