Terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend this place at all not even if it was the only hair salon in this world!
This is probably the best salon to go to everyone is kind and have a posi attitude. All of them are professional and do the best job possible. Highly recommend!
Worst customer service. I was there for 4 hours. When I got home, i noticed my nails were still smudging. I went back and Patty, who I tipped very well, had extreme attitude and refused to put it the jewels on after I paid. 7 days later, my nails are chipping and one broke. Rude, terrible and the worst customer service. (I didn't even mention that the $30 pedicure I paid for was a folding chair in the back with a dollar store tin container that my feet barely fit in. No running water so halfway thru, the water was cold and I asked for wawr water and I was told I would have to pay a $5.00 water fee) THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE

I saw some pictures on their Instagram page and their work looked really professional, it caught my eye so I decided to try something new and change my look. I went March 9 the day of my birthday to dye my hair, at first the manager told me the charge was $100.00 and 4 hours later after the job was done one of her employees charged me $130.00 and when I was ready to pay the manager changed her mind and charged me $150.00 I was upset and mad but I paid the price because my hair honestly looked amazing. Before leaving Lush Beauty Salon on Grand Concourse I tipped the employee $30.00 which I totally regret because in less than one week my hair was terrible, it was really damaged and it was three different colors. I called them back and instead of fixing the problem they wanted to charge me $70.00 to re-dye my hair.
Awful experience. My hair looked great but the curls did not last as long as they made it seem to be. And the thing that I hated was the lack of professionalism. Originally they had told me they could put on eyelashes, HOWEVER once my hair was done, the workers told me that it was MY JOB to bring the lashes PLUS the glue and only then would they put on the lashes. So I had to leave then come back and even so when I returned they told me the glue I had brought (DUO Striplash Adhesive) would not work so they would "try" to make it work. Mind you, they did not even measure nor see whether the lashes were a right fit for me (Obviously they did not fit because lashes are made longer so that a person can cut them to the size of their eye) but the woman still put them on as they were so the front of the lashline looked disgusting, downright sloppy. I was so furious about how they made me leave the salon to buy the stuff and then come back to be charged $20 just for putting them on. Like really? It was that much work? You didn't even size them or put them accordingly to the lashline? Not to mention the makeup that I was wearing already had been completely ruined due to their incapablity of being careful. Will definitely not return, overpriced, and unprofessional.
